1. Who we are
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of theheritageco.in and any order of heritage meals, overnight oats, orchard bowls, protein, or meal plans from The Heritage Co. (“we”, “us”).
By browsing, joining the newsletter, signing in (including with Google), or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Google Sign-In & User Data page, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. The kitchen, not a marketplace
The Heritage Co. cooks and offers local heritage meals. We are not a grocery marketplace and we do not sell third-party goods on this site unless we say so in writing.
Menu items, photographs, and copy describe food we intend to cook. Availability can change with the season and the morning route.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site with a parent or guardian, to place a paid order.
You confirm that the delivery address you give is one we can reach on a published local route, and that the details you submit are true.
4. Orders and the newsletter
The homepage letter is a newsletter, not a waitlist. Joining it is not a paid order and does not reserve stock.
When checkout opens, an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm by email or in the basket flow and take payment through our payment partner.
We may refuse or cancel an order if the kitchen cannot fulfil it, if the address is outside the route, or if we suspect misuse.
5. Prices, taxes, and coming soon
Prices, if shown, are in Indian Rupees and may include or exclude GST as stated at checkout. We will publish GSTIN on this site before the first paid order.
Until prices are marked ready, “Coming soon” means no sale is made. We will not charge a card or UPI for a coming-soon item.
We may change prices before you pay. After payment, the price you paid for that order stands.
6. Payments, cards, UPI, and EMI
Paid orders are collected by our payment gateway (for example cards, net banking, UPI, wallets, or EMI if the gateway offers it on our account).
We do not store full card numbers on our servers. The gateway’s terms also apply to the payment you make.
EMI, if shown, is arranged by the bank or the gateway, not by The Heritage Co. as a lender. Approval, interest, and tenure are between you and that partner.
Failed or pending payments do not confirm an order. A successful settlement receipt is required before we cook for a paid drop.
7. Food, allergens, and care
Our kitchen handles oats, nuts, dairy, cacao, fruit, and other common foods. Tell us in writing about allergies before you subscribe. We cannot guarantee a facility free of every allergen.
Meals are perishable. Keep them chilled as labelled. We are not responsible for spoilage after a successful handover if the meal was held outside the advised temperature.
8. Your account and the basket
A browser basket on this site may be stored on your device. You are responsible for the device you use.
You may sign in with a one-time email code or with Google Sign-In. Google Sign-In is optional. If you use it, Google’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply to the Google account you choose.
Kitchen staff sign-in is by invitation only. Continue with Google on /login does not create a public account.
Do not misuse the site, scrape it aggressively, or attempt to break checkout or the newsletter.
9. Intellectual property
The Heritage Co. name, the house menu, photographs, botanical marks, and site design are ours or used with permission. You may not copy them for another shop or menu without written leave.
10. Liability
To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost appetite for a missed morning, or issues caused by a third-party courier or payment partner after we have handed the meal or the payment in good faith.
Our total liability for a paid order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law does not allow that limit (including proven food-safety fault on our part).
11. Changes and law
We may update these Terms. The date at the top of the page is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms for later visits and orders.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the city of our registered kitchen, once published, will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection venues.
